On December 6, the Yale-China University Presidents’ Online Forum themed “Teaching and Learning in the Digital Age” was successfully held. DUT President Guo Dongming attended the forum, and shared DUT practice on the research in intelligence and its implementation in teaching activities.. The forum was hosted by the China Scholarship Council (CSC) and organized by Peking University. The leaders and experts of CSC, Yale University, Tsinghua University, Peking University, Zhejiang University and Huazhong Agricultural University also attended the event and exchange experience and ideas.
In his report titled “Seizing the Opportunity of the Era of Digital Intelligence, and Building a Better Global Education Community Together”, DUT President Guo Dongming took the National Underwater Robot Competition as an example to show the practice of DUT in carrying out frontier scientific research by relying on multidisciplinary research in communications, mechanics and fluid mechanics, as well as the results of digital innovation research and the talent training outcomes in the field of frontier scientific research through the integration of science and education and the integration of industry and education.
Leaders and experts shared the exploration and practice of “Teaching and Learning in the Digital Age” in Chinese and foreign universities, and discussed the opportunities and challenges of interdisciplinary integration in the era of digital intelligence.
