On January 21, the Hong Kong Academy of Engineering (HKAE) announced the election of 11 distinguished professionals as its newest fellows. These 11 individuals were selected during the 31st Annual General Meeting held on December 9, 2024, and were officially inducted as fellows at a ceremony held at The Hotel Icon on January 20 this year. The newly elected fellows have all made outstanding contributions to the field of engineering. Among them are two alumni from our university, Chen Guohua and Wang Jun.
Chen Guohua and Wang Jun, both esteemed graduates of our university, have been recognized for their significant achievements and leadership in engineering. Their election to the HKAE underscores the high caliber of education and training provided by our university, as well as the impactful careers of its alumni.
