
The China-Belarus University Alliance convened its third plenary session in Minsk on October 14. The event was attended by senior officials, including Chinese Ambassador Zhang Wenchuan and Belarusian Education Minister Andrei Ivanets, alongside nearly 200 representatives from 28 Chinese and 35 Belarusian universities.
The Chinese and Belarusian secretariats, represented by Dalian University of Technology and the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, signed a Joint Declaration to deepen cooperation in talent cultivation, scientific research, and cultural exchanges.

Officials from both nations praised the Alliance's role in strengthening bilateral ties and highlighted its growing impact, noting a significant increase in joint projects. The meeting also featured the signing of 10 new bilateral agreements and the inauguration of a China-Belarus "Belt and Road" joint laboratory.
Parallel forums were held in key fields such as digital technology and advanced manufacturing. A subsequent symposium at the Chinese Embassy further discussed future collaboration.
Background:
The China-Belarus University Alliance was established in November 2023 to create long-term exchange mechanisms and promote in-depth collaboration in talent training and joint research between the two countries' universities.
