Focusing on the world cutting-edge technology in the field of "Ocean Engineering", the International Joint Research Center of Ocean Engineering, was jointly established relying on the State Key Laboratory of Coastal and Offshore Engineering, Dalian University of Technology and the first-class overseas scientific research institutions, such as the Center for Offshore Foundation System of the University of Western Australia. Based on the "project-talent-base" model in international scientific and technological cooperation, the Center strives to improve the quality and level of international sci-tech cooperation, with the aim to build a discipline cluster of Ocean Engineering with international influence, and play a leading and demonstrative role in this field.
Through scientific research cooperation, talent cultivation, academic exchanges, jointly-built bases and other channels, it has built a solid international cooperation network with more than 40 universities andresearchinstitutes from 18 countries. Undertaking eight international talent training programs, it has built a first-class international training platform for the top-notch professionals engaging in Ocean Engineering.
